使用dmidecode解读服务器硬件信息

dmidecode是一个信息转换工具，能把系统中的硬件信息输出为友好的可读性的信息展现给我们；

一些知名厂商的服务器还可以展现出其服务器型号，序列号等等，可以有效的帮助我们做一些资产管理的工作；

比如我可以在一台dell的服务器上查看到：

bash# dmidecode -t 1
Handle 0×0002, DMI type 1, 27 bytes.
System Information
Manufacturer: Dell
Product Name: S5000PAL
Version: Not Specified
Serial Number: F1Z1HF1
UUID: 4F0F48DC-FF5F-11DC-ABCD-000BAB086EB6
Wake-up Type: Power Switch
SKU Number: ……….
Family: Not Specified

 

其中包括了服务器的型号，序列号等等信息；

dmidecode能查询到包括bios、system、board、mem等多达39种信息；详细可查man帮助信息！
